More Dreams

Hi, here are two weird dreams. The first one I didn't have last night, I had it quite a while ago.

There was this big amphitheatre, and there were posted all around, advertising an event - are you ready for it? - a Strong Bad/Mickey Mouse/X-Men crossover children's show! Curious, I entered the amphitheatre, to find the event already taking place. Strong Bad was walking across the stage, singing an extended version of the "when email comes to town you know you know it's like a rainstorm in your browser" song... which quite surprised me, as the kiddies were singing along. However, then it was dark, and the X-Men jet soars across the sky! And that's when I woke up. That could've been so cool.

The next dream I will tell you about happened last night. I a church camp doing some mascoting, and then wearing mismatched clothes. Erm, that was a lot shorter. I think that one was more wishful thinking, because I had done some mascoting at Vacation Bible School this year, and it's fun! I did it last year as well.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3: PK SORTA KINDA REVIEWS IT!

What, I haven't posted here in a while? Well, this will surely make up for it. Tonight I just finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and here is my... uh... comments on certain scenes that I found humorous. (Both the comments and the scenes.)

DANGER, WILL <strike>ROBINSON</strike> TURNER: I AM TRYING TO KEEP MY CLUES TO THE PLOT CRYPTIC BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY REALIZE WHAT THE PLOT IS WITH THE HELP OF THIS

BUT MOST OF MY COMMENTS ARE JUST SILLY

Most of these comments are chronological, but some places they are not. Meh.

On the intro... ah... for a while I thought this was going to be a mafia game from the shots with the hung ropes. There should be a role called "Little Pirate Kid" who sings when he is hung so he annoys the British guys so that everyone else in the game gets hung as well. Just kidding. :p

British seamen are snooty! Oh wait, we learned that already.

Don't pay too much attention to Sao Feng, you won't be seeing him later.

Octopus tears. Poor Davy.

Jack Sparrow doesn't appear for a while in this, so this explains what happens after the really really really really big waterfall, they needed him to act more. (No, I'm not talking about the quotes from the theme park ride. Although that was cool.)

There are so many "OWNED" moments in this film... but that's kinda the requirement for every movie these days so what am I saying? One of the best ones was where Jack Sparrow kills himself. Okay okay okay it's just his imagination of him killing his clone. But maybe that's why it's awesome.

Rocks make good crabs, and crabs make good stuff to turn into. (They go even better down pants.)

I thought more about mafia when everyone pointed guns at each other after the rescue. I don't know why, I think I would have hanged all of them for being wishy washy.

It's nice that some of the CGed characters are actually portrayed by their actors a couple times during this.

Is it just me or did that French pirate look like Captain Hook?

You do know why Keith Richards is related to Jack in this, right? :)

The little dog with the keys survived the cannibal island from the end credits scene of the second movie.

Foooooooooor I am the pirate king! (Oh yes, you are the pirate king) And it is, it is, a glorious thing to be the pirate king! Ooooooooooh!

The only part that wasn't good was all the junk about Calypso. *yawn*

Pirate often deal with fighting another ship with a crew of undersea mutants

Did that one British guy eat the key or something? I don't know why Davy needed to stick his tentacles in(to) the guy's face.

Undead monkeys make good cannon ammo.

Death is fun to cheat! But sadly not everyone cheats it.

I chuckle a bit whenever the characters walk around/have romantic relationships when everything else is exploding, or everyone else is fighting. (That's a generic movie cliché but it happens here, of course) The former I know happens probably several times (I remember it mostly from the second movie, when Jack decided to go on a hat swapping spree at Tortuga), but the latter's location was just silly. There is another time though when the latter happens but they are participating in the fighting, and a former when you don't exactly get away. That one isn't talking about Jack. You can't kill Jack, or at least leave him dead.

Jack Sparrow appeared on a dinghy the first time we saw him in the first movie, and left on a dinghy when we see him for the last time in this one. This doesn't have to do with the plot.

ON THE PART AFTER THE CREDITS: Look, mom! Daddy's home!

Overall, the plot may be confusing, but there is too much awesome in this movie to go around. Like pirates are going to explain everything to you.

A pirate captain somehow got stuck in one of his ship's own cannons. Not knowing that the captain was in the cannon, and not a cannonball, the swabby blasted him off to an island. Luckily, the captain was not too far off from his ship, but the crew did not notice him. Noticing some trees on the island, he cut them down with his cutlass. He took some ropes out of his pocket, and tied the trees together into a raft. Hopping on the raft, he made his way toward the ship, and was found and hoisted up. He decided to also hoist up the trees and keep them as keepsakes.

One winter's voyage, the pirates had an infestation of squirrels on the ship! Apparently the squirrels had snuck onto their ship after another stop at an island. The pirates found that they were hiding inside the pirate captain's trees. The captain gave an order, and the pirates dunked the trees into the cold, cold water several times. Needless to say, the squirrels left.

What did the pirate captain say to the pirates?

"Shiver me timbers!"

PK's been sick for a couple of days but he's all better now! So that's where he's been! And here's where he was before that!
He was out Sunday being a church mascot! Now why on earth would they need a mascot if he's already a talkin' turtle? I don't know! But he did it anyway, which is true meaning of mascotness, even though he was sick beforehand! But he is all ready to do it next Sunday and he is back here too!
So howdy again!

Being a mascot is a ton of fun. I am a giant chameleon, although most confuse me with a gecko or frog. Actually, I am being a gecko mascot this year, but I am in the same costume! The kids still love me though. Amazingly, I find myself lost at all the same places. Has the forum updated yet? Is my watchlist updated? Did someone comment? Yada yada yada! Speaking as I often find myself lost in the same locations, that point of getting lost on the entire web may be null and void. Or maybe just null. Or void. (Why do we say it twice? Is a null without a void ineffective?)

On the plus side, my new scanner is off the ground - in printing. (1024x768 works fine for me.)

I just found out the problem to almost all computer problems.

Restart your computer.

Now to go finish projects which I haven't done yet. It's fine with me right now. I just hope it doesn't seem like a KAPOW when stuff starts again!!

It's crazy big. I got one. Everyone who got one likes to brag. Wii Sports is fun. Boxing is really fun. It's good to remove stress. When you're stressed, go punch a buffoon a couple times. It's fun! What else is fun is that now I can talk about it with other geeks on the other forum. Weeee-iiii!

Right now I'm waiting for Brawl and other stuff to come out. Sure, we did get lots of good stuff, but there's better stuff on the way!

In other news, I also got Yoshi's Island DS.

It's nowhere as good as the original, but it's okay.

Is this a cube? Or is it a floor and two walls?

How about this? This is much more complex. Which cube is in the front? Or are there not cubes at all? Rather, are what you seeing is another floor and some more walls? Or maybe the walls on the right are not walls, but another cube.

Or maybe it's just five parallelograms.

This has been another lesson with Professor Paradox! Farewell, fellow paradoxers!
